About The Living last supper

The Living Last Supper was first performed on April 18, 2000, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Traverse City, Michigan. Since then, this powerful production has traveled across Northern Michigan, sharing the Good News with audiences far and wide.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Living Last Supper. Over the years, it has inspired countless individuals, strengthened families, and guided nonbelievers in preparing their hearts for the Easter season.
Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper has remained one of the most iconic religious images for over 500 years. The painting captures the moment Jesus, surrounded by his 12 disciples, reveals that one of them will betray him.
During the performance, 13 men bring the painting to life, each assuming a pose that mirrors da Vinci’s masterpiece. One by one, the disciples deliver monologues reflecting on their relationship with Jesus and their reactions to his revelation—while Jesus himself remains silent, deepening the impact of the moment.
